This is a collection of archived files for Ninja Quake, a modification for the 1996 video game Quake.
Featured:

- Impulse 100 Ultra ninja jump / Hook
You make a large jump in the same direction you are looking (like the fiend). To make some damage
on your enemies you should use the katana. If you are above the ground this impulse will activate
the Hook. Use the hook to get stuck to a wall.

- Impulse 104 Teleport
- Impulse 105 Throw Sword / Crossbow
- Impulse 200 Change skin (Red or Blue)

You can talk in Ninja Quake, just like in DukeNukem 3D. Autoexec.cfg will bind these impulses.

How do I play this patch
-------------------------
1. Make a new directory in your quake directory called ninja
2. Unzip ninjaq12.zip in the new
directory you just made.
3. Start quake like this: quake -game ninja
4. Bind buttons to all new impulses and you are ready to play.

Bind an impulse
----------------
1. Bring down the console with the ~ key.
2. Type like this: bind x "impulse 100"
to bind 'x' to "impulse 100", you can exchange 'x' to 'enter' or anyother key you like, and
you can also change "impulse 100" to whatever impulse you like.

Play this in GL Quake
----------------------
If you are playing this path with GL Quake and all models look really strange, then you need to
remove the mesh directory in your quake\id1 directory. Restart Ninja Quake in GL mode and it
should work.

Quake World
------------
In this version we have a qwprogs.dat file include so you can play it on internet.
BUT, Ninja Quake is more fun on a local area network. Some features are not included in the qw
version of Ninja, and manny of the weapons and special features in Ninja Quake can be hard
to use on a laggy modem.
If you want to set upp a server running Ninja Quake then please do so.
We will just be happy if someone want to play this on the internet.
